Surgical SuturesA physician uses sutures to close wounds on the skin. In order to close a wound, a doctor uses a needle attached to a thread. A suture material can either be absorbable or nonabsorbable. The doctor does not need to remove absorbable sutures as they are naturally digested by enzymes found in body tissues. While, nonabsorbable sutures have to be removed later. Our company supplies sutures made from a synthetic material called Polypropylene (Prolene), in addition to sutures made from polybutylate coated braided polyester. These surgical sutures can be identified based on the model numbers, like NW824, W6937 and Nw683.
